Our approach
We collect only the information needed to assess and respond to a domain purchase enquiry or general contact message. We use it only to handle the request, protect the service, and keep an appropriate record. We do not add people to marketing lists.
Information we collect
Your email address, optional name, selected topic or initial offer, message, any domain you enter, and limited security records derived from the request. Network identifiers are hashed for abuse prevention rather than retained in plain form.
Why we use it
To verify your contact address, respond to your requested enquiry, maintain an enquiry record, and prevent fraud or misuse. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated direct marketing.
Sharing and storage
Information is processed by the services that host this site and deliver verification and enquiry email. Once an address is verified, the enquiry is forwarded to the relevant recipient with a private reply address. Replies sent to these addresses are processed, stored with the enquiry and relayed to the other party. Authorised administrators can also reply through DomainRobot. Sender and delivery information is kept to secure and operate the conversation. Inline signature images are omitted and file attachments are not supported. Email sent directly between personal addresses, rather than through the relay, is not recorded here. Information is shared further only when needed for a transaction, legal compliance, or security.
Policy against unsolicited promotion
DomainRobot.com, its services, links, content and the domain sale pages it operates must not be promoted through unsolicited electronic communications. This includes unwanted email, SMS, instant or direct messages, social media messages, forum posts, comment spam and other unwanted individual or bulk messages.
We do not authorise anyone, including affiliates, contractors, users or other third parties, to send unsolicited advertising for DomainRobot or to claim they are doing so on our behalf. We do not buy, rent or use third-party marketing lists to promote the service. Replies and follow-ups directly related to an enquiry you submit through our forms are service correspondence, not a subscription to marketing.
If you receive an unsolicited message promoting DomainRobot or one of its sale pages, please contact us with the sender, date and a copy of the message, removing unrelated personal information. Such promotion is unauthorised. We will investigate reported misuse and take reasonable steps to address it.
Retention and your choices
Unverified enquiries are deleted within 24 hours after their verification link expires. Verified enquiries, their initial messages and replies sent through this website or email relay are retained for no longer than 24 months after verification. To request earlier access, correction, deletion, or to object, use our contact form.
